Shipping & Delivery

Our goal is to be transparent about how and when your order will arrive, helping you avoid unexpected delays or costs.

1. Order Processing Times

After an order is placed and the Contract is formed (upon OBW issuing a Sales Order following your Purchase Order acceptance 1), we will process and ready your goods for shipment.

  • Goods will typically be shipped within two business days.
  • Business days exclude weekends and Irish public holidays.

OBW Technologies Limited ("OBW") will deliver the Goods carriage paid within Ireland by a method of carriage chosen by OBW, unless otherwise specified in your Contract.

Holding and Storage of Goods

OBW will hold Goods at its premises until the Client is ready for delivery to the site or after the assembled control panel has been tested.

  • If the Client requires OBW to hold the Goods for more than 7 days from the date they are ready for delivery, a storage handling fee will apply.
  • The fee is 0.022% per day on the price of the Goods as per the Contract.

Risk of Loss

The risk in the Goods passes to the Client at the moment the Goods are delivered to the Client's premises.

  • If the Client chooses to collect the Goods themselves, risk passes when the Goods are entrusted to them or set aside for their collection, whichever happens first.

Reporting Damaged Goods

In the unlikely event that Goods are damaged, this must be reported to OBW within 48 hours of receiving the delivery.

  • Damaged goods must be returned to OBW within 14 days of delivery.

 

Returns Policy

This policy outlines the process and conditions for returning Goods purchased from OBW Technologies Limited ("OBW").

General Returns (Non-Faulty Goods)

Goods may be returned subject to the following conditions:

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days from the date of delivery to the Client. No returns are accepted after this period.
  • The Goods must be returned in their original packaging with all documentation.
  • The item and its packaging must be undamaged and unused.
  • Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • For customer specific orders, a 100% restocking fee applies.
  • OBW reserves the right to refuse a return if the Goods are of merchantable quality.

Cost of Return Shipping (Non-Faulty or Delivery Failure)

In cases where the Goods are not faulty, or where the purchaser fails to accept or declines the delivery (and the goods are not faulty), the cost of return shipping will be the responsibility of the Client.

Returns for Faulty Goods

If Goods are found to be defective and qualify under the Warranty terms (Clause 9 of the Terms and Conditions):

  • The burden of the cost of return shipping will be on OBW Technologies Limited.
  • The Client must provide notice in writing of the claim defects to OBW immediately on their appearance or use.
  • The Goods claimed to be defective must be promptly returned to OBW at the expense of the Client if so requested by OBW. OBW will cover the cost if the goods are indeed found to be faulty.
  • If an item returned under warranty is subsequently found to be in good working order, OBW will issue a quote for the inspection, and the Client will be responsible for the cost.
